Scholastica, Senior campus, Mirpur also successfully organized a competition focusing on business ideas last year-Scholastica Business Summit. It is truly great to see more schools are being eager to arrange events which aim for the business enthusiasts out there.
It gives us immense delight and joy to inform you that two groups from our school performed brilliantly in the Mastermind Entrepreneurs’ Conclave 2018. One group won the first position and another achieved the third.
The talented group of 5 attaining the third position consisted of Aneesa Mubasshira, Sarina Rahman, Maysha Ahmed Neha, Meem Cho and Kazi Shahriar Sharif. It suffice to say that if you don’t take risks and don’t take the chances thrown at you a lot of your talents remain in their bubble.
Entrepreneurship is not a part-time nor a full time job, it’s a lifestyle. We take risks and tend to exploit the opportunities around us to be successful. These are just a few of the things I learned from the special speakers present at MMEC. Sometimes participating in challenging competitions enables you to judge your knowledge but this time I learned something else, that is how much I need to know. The emotions I felt were a mixture of joy and sadness. Joy because we got a place and disappointment as we couldn’t grab the championship. But I think this is also a valuable learning. Sometimes there will be someone better than you but that shouldn’t bother you. We should compete with ourselves and try to a be a better winner each time---Sarina Rahman
The competition allowed the participants to attain knowledge and wisdom about turning their ideas into reality. The research work conducted by them for their respective tasks shall also surely help them in their future endeavors.
We chose to take part in social business venture in day 1 and social media commercial in day 2.Every competition is challenging, and Mastermind Conclave wasn’t any different. The most challenging part was conducting the research work on our topic in order to answer the judges’ questions confidently---Aneesa Mubasshira
The group achieving the first position had 5 incredibly ambitious and talented individuals. The members of this team include Rupita Islam Ryna, Minhazul Islam, Barsat Zulkarnain, Sharmind Nilormee and Gazi Sharita Fairooz.
It would be unfair to compress the uncountable number of emotions which overcame us in the past couple of days. Hence I will end my post with simple words. Winning a business competition wasn’t easy with a pure science background but these amazing individuals by my side made it happen. ---Rupita Islam Ryna
